1st Meeting of MEDREG Presidents
I Presidenti e i Commissari di MEDREG - Association of Mediterranean Energy Regulators si riuniranno a Roma il prossimo 10 dicembre per uno scambio di vedute e good practices con particolare riferimento alle importanti sfide imposte dallo sviluppo delle energie rinnovabili, dal crescente ruolo del gas e dal necessario adeguamento della regolazione dei settori interessati.
Organizzato su impulso di Stefano Besseghini, Vicepresidente Permanente di MEDREG e Presidente di ARERA, il 1st Meeting of MEDREG Presidents, è teso a rafforzare è teso a rafforzare la cooperazione tra i vertici delle Autorità di Regolazione ai fini di una visione condivisa dell'evoluzione del ruolo dei Regolatori del Bacino del Mediterraneo.
The Presidents and Commissioners of Mediterranean Energy Regulatory Authorities will gather in Rome on 10 December to exchange approaches and good practices with regards to renewable energy development and the growing role of gas, which imply important challenges and require the adaption of the energy regulation from both a policy and technical perspective.
Organised at the initiative of Mr. Stefano Besseghini, MEDREG Vice President and President of the Italian Energy Regulator ARERA, this meeting is the first of its kind and is meant to foster cooperation at the highest level of national regulatory authorities, leading to the development of a shared vision for the changing role of Regulators in the Mediterranean region.
